​High School Winter Soccer at Central Valley FC

Central Valley FC’s High School Winter Soccer program is designed for players in grades 9–12 (Freshman through Senior) who want to continue developing and competing during the high school off-season.
Teams participate in OYSA’s Statewide Competitive League (SCL) or Regional Select League (RSL), offering a challenging environment against quality opponents from across Oregon.
Players are selected through formal tryouts held prior to the winter season. Team formation is based on coach availability and player interest, with the goal of creating competitive, development-focused squads.
As a travel program, players can expect to play matches at various locations throughout the state.

TRYOUTS
  • Date: Saturday 11/15/25 (GIRLS ONLY, we do not have a boys team available at this time)
  • Time: 2-4pm
  • Location: Crater High School Turf
  • MUST REGISTER ONLINE PRIOR TO TRYOUTS. 
  • No cost for tryouts

AGE
  • Freshman to Senior in High School, 2008 - 2012 birth year

COST
  • $300 per player
  • $150 (approx) for uniform kit, paid directly to Cascade Athletic.
    • If your player already has a kit (checkered Orange and Black) then they do not need to purchase a kit.
  • No refunds after a player has been placed on a team 

PRICE INCLUDES​
  • Winter Season RCL division fees
  • Competitive Player card, secondary medical insurance, field rental, administrative and operational expenses.

GAME ATTIRE​
  • Player should wear CVFC jersey kit to every game.

SEASON INFO
  • December to March (Games start mid January) Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Practice are M-F typically 2-3 sessions per week for 1.5 to 2 hours each
  • Coaches will contact teams with practice times and locations.
