Classic Soccer at Central Valley FC
Fall/Spring "Classic" soccer is for players in the U11 to U14 age divisions and is part of Oregon Youth Soccer Association’s (OYSA) competitive pathway. Central Valley FC Classic teams compete in the Regional Competitive League (RCL) — a division designed for players who are ready for a higher level of play, training, and commitment.
Teams are formed through formal tryouts held each fall, with placement based on skill, effort, and coach evaluation. Players who join a Classic team are dedicated to advancing their soccer education and competing against strong opponents from across the region.
Because of the increased level of competition, Classic soccer involves a greater time and financial commitment than recreational programs, including more travel for games and tournaments.

Please note: Central Valley FC is based in Central Point, Oregon, and is dedicated to nurturing soccer talent from District 6, while warmly welcoming players from all cities. When selecting players for a team, we prioritize fostering local talent from District 6 to strengthen our community ties. We highly encourage families to participate in their local clubs first if one exists.

- $650 per player
- No refunds after a player has been placed on a team
- 6 month payment plans available

- Spring: February - May (Games April/May)

- Full Uniform Kit
- Entry into at least 1 tournament per year (Rogue Memorial Challenge)
- Competitive Player card, secondary medical insurance, field rental, administrative and operational expenses.
GAME ATTIRE
- Player should wear CVFC jersey kit to every game.
GAME SCHEDULE
- Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays
- 7-8 week game schedule
- 10 games
- Games held in Central Point, Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Roseburg, Klamath Falls, Redding (CA)
PRACTICE INFO
- Coaches will contact teams with practice times and locations.
- Practice are M-F typically 2-3 sessions per week for 1.5 hours each
- Required - Shin Guards
- Required - Socks covering shin guards (not color specific)
- Optional - Cleats - we highly recommend (if player is wearing cleats they must be Soccer specific cleats)
- Optional - Water Bottle
- Optional - Soccer Ball
- (U10 - U12 is Size 4)
- (U14 and up is Size 5)
